Patio Paradise with Wayfair

Are you ready for Summer? We sure are! This Quarantine has us dreaming of warm summer days on the patio, celebrating all the important events we missed with family and friends. I love to entertain, and I love entertaining on our patio even more. I was sooo excited when Wayfair asked me to be a part of this campaign. They offer endless options on just about every category, to help reinvent your next home project. And our patio needed a little makeover. Using our existing furniture, I added some fun new pieces that really transformed the space into the perfect Patio Paradise.

Outdoor Area Rug

I’ve always wanted to incorporate an outdoor rug on our patio. It gives the furniture a new dimension and feels more complete. It brings the cozy feeling of home, outdoors.

Wooden Console Table

It wasn’t until I started browsing through the Wayfair Outdoor Guides, until I realized how important an outdoor console table would be! This quickly became the most perfect addition to hold all the entertaining essentials.

Beverage Dispenser

I love a good drink dispenser. It’s definitely a must-have party staple and holds everything from water with fresh lemons, lemonade, a big batch of sangria or margaritas. Yum! The perfect patio summer cocktails!

patio boards

Acacia Wood Cutting Board + Round Marble Cheese Board

I’ve learned this year that I absolutely love creating charcuterie boards! My kids love them too! Having different size boards allows you to create a variety of presentations and get creative. And they are perfect for summer entertaining!

Two Tiered Stand

Having fresh fruit accessible for those summer cocktails is always essential. A two tiered stand makes for a pretty presentation. I will even add fresh apples and oranges and they’ll be the perfect healthy summer snack for the kids to grab on the go.

I am so grateful to have worked together with Wayfair to create our Patio Paradise. It’s amazing what a few new pieces can do to a space. We are beyond excited for summer and cannot wait to host our first party after Quarantine.

Fun + Functional Kids Playroom with Wayfair

I was so excited when Wayfair asked me to share my ideas for a Fun + Functional Kids Playroom. We are currently gathering ideas to finish our basement, and this just gave me head start on a creating a room just for my girls!

Creating spaces for kids is my absolute favorite (here + here). I enjoy the challenge of creating a room that they will not get bored with or outgrow too quickly. I also want the space to feel like a room that I, myself want to spend time in.

As with any room, I don’t like clutter, so storage + organization was my main focus when finding pieces for this playroom design board. There is a place for everything from books, play food, art supplies, trinkets, and of course.. stuffed animals!

A table and chairs is always essential to any kids playroom. I love the variety that Wayfair has to offer. Adding things like a teepee with a plush floor pillow can create a cozy reading corner. A vibrant rug and whimsical artwork give the room a burst of color. And of course, it wouldn’t be a kids playroom without a play kitchen.. complete with its very own farmhouse sink!

Imaginative play is so important, but I know as my girls get older, the room may transform to less toys and more of a creative space for homework and art projects. Wayfair offers endless options to create a vibrant and whimsical space. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to find such great pieces through Wayfair.

Christmas Home Decor

November 1st is by far the earliest I have ever decorated for Christmas, but the frigid temps and the beauty of the first snow fall, just put me in the holiday spirit. We of course don’t have our Christmas tree just yet, as we always have a real one, but all of my other holiday home decor is all set up and beautiful as ever.

If you remember two years ago (Gah! HOW has it been two years already?!), I collaborated with West Elm on a Holiday Home Tour (also seen here on Front + Main). I fell in love with all the things, and still get giddy when I set it all up. It was such an honor to be a part of one of my favorite brands. I absolutely love the blush, navy and ivory color scheme, along with the mixed metals of gold and silver. Today, I am so excited to share some pieces I have found to add to the beauty of it all.

Fall Fairy Garden

I am super excited to finally share this little treasure of a Fairy Garden. Pete created this beautiful structure, just outside of Chloe’s bedroom window. If you remember, the inspiration to her bedroom design, is Fairy Garden (see it here). Both Chloe and Capri have had so much fun collecting pieces and tending to their “garden.” They even picked out the mums and pumpkins to feel more fall-like.

Pete built this structure last year, and I love how the wood has aged over time. It feels like an extension of our home and I love how well it blends in with the landscaping surrounding it. Follow along, as I share the progress of construction, and what the Fairy Garden looks like today..

I absolutely love watching my girls play in this space, and use their imaginations to the fullest. It is one of the sweetest things my husband has ever built, and I am so incredibly proud of his creation. I can’t wait to add more pieces and see it transform into something even more beautiful, over the next few years!

Entryway Reveal

I’m so excited to finally share with you our entryway. Stepping through our front door, I never thought the space was top priority, or needed much attention at all. I knew I wanted a console table, but wasn’t sure how it would fit with our floor to ceiling side light windows. But once I added the table, and began styling it, I absolutely loved it! By adding just a few simple pieces, our home feels so much more inviting.

My favorite addition to our entryway is the rug. It makes a world of a difference having a rug that fits so perfectly. I’ll share all the sources in the next few days, so check back soon!

Valentine Home Decor

Whew! We made it through the polar vortex and the month of January! I am so happy that today is February 1st.. it just means we are a little closer to spring + celebrating the month of LOVE. I typically don’t like to decorate for every holiday.. it always seems to look cluttered, and just more things I have to find storage for. But, I love adding splashes of pink + red for Valentine’s Day. It brings a fresh spring-like feel. And lets face it.. we sure love the color pink around here, so the majority of the things don’t have to even be packed away for next season. Here are a few of the pieces I’m adding to our home this year..

Capri’s ‘Ballerina’ Bedroom Reveal

A few months ago, I shared Capri’s Bedroom Design Board with her idea of a ‘Ballerina Bedroom’ theme. I had so much fun searching for all the tiny details, and my absolute favorite is the gallery wall that we created. It really is the prettiest wall in our home, and Capri adores it all! She is definitely our tutu wearing, all things sparkly + shimmery kind of girl.. and I LOVE that! It is definitely a stage that I cherish, and want to hold onto for as long as I can.

We all just love this space, and are so happy with how all the pretty details came together for our little ballerina. I’ll share all the sources next week, so check back soon!

Hello! And HAPPY Summer! I know it’s been a while since I blogged, but I finally have a capsule of photos to share many new blog posts and room reveals.. yay!

Today, I am so excited to share all the beautiful details of Chloe’s Bedroom! You may remember my Design Board that I created many months ago, but it took quite some time to finally bring it all together. This room far exceeded my love for a neutral color palette, but I absolutely LOVE the bright colors + vibrant details so much! Chloe loves her bedroom, and I love walking into such a cheerful + whimsical space.. something that definitely matches her personality.

I love that I was able to bring her idea of a ‘Fairy Garden’ Bedroom to life, and incorporate some of the pieces she’s been collecting. I’ll share all the sources to the room next week, so stayed tuned!
